The 3rd Annual Northview Fastpitch 2010 FUNdamentals Camp was held July 27 through 29 - (Tuesday - Thursday) for rising Softball Players, grades 3 - 8. This year the camp was hosted by both Northview High School as well as Johns Creek High School and 56 CAMPERS ATTENDED!
Here is a testimonial from a parent of one of the 2010 campers...
"Reese,
I just wanted to take a minute to thank you for the incredible softball camp this week. Emma enjoyed it all, and learned so many new things. She said the coaches were friendly, encouraging and very helpful. These 3 days provided her with more than she's gotten out of any other camp we've tried. I was very impressed with the organization and time management as well. At previous camps there was so much down time that we felt she played more "games" than softball. She came away with such a positive and excited outlook towards the next season and I thought you should get a thankyou for your dedication to the kids and for putting together such a well run camp. There is no doubt that she would love to participate again next year! Again, thanks for everything, and please pass that on to the other coaches and older girls too - they were all great to her...enjoy the rest of your summer!"
The 2010 Camp was coordinated by Reese Jacobs and was staffed by Coach Payne, Coach Deis and Johns Creek Coaches Billy Nicholson and Beth Spak. These coaches bring over 50 years of softball experience at the D1 collegiate and high school level to the camp. Campers will also meet and work with members of the Northview and Johns Creek Varsity Softball team.
